We
have come across many reviews and testimonials for numerology
software, but the following assessment from the authoritative
Accurate Numerology Talk explains why the Decoz application
is head and shoulders above the competition:
- Excerpted from Accurate Numerology Talk
(www.allnumerology.com):
Numerology Software:
There are several software producers, such as Widening Horizons,
NumberCal, Matrix, Number Quest, CyberNumbers, J.A.D. Numeriks,
Bon Usage, and others. We have looked at most of them. Almost
all these programs are void of any real depth and insight. The
reports often are general (after all; they are computer-generated),
and incomplete. Some producers try to make up for it by throwing
in some graphics and lots of introductory texts to fill up the
pages. We have, among our members, several professional numerologists
who own one or more professional versions. This allowed us to
do some comparisons. We won't waste your time comparing programs
we don't feel are worthy of your time and money.
We compared the two best numerology software producers and their
work: J.A.D. Numeriks (Hans Decoz), and Widening Horizons (Matthew Goodwin).
J.A.D.
Numeriks - Hans Decoz Numerology Software. 5 stars.
A
true exception to the statements above, is the numerology software
for Windows created by the authors of Numerology; Key To Your
Inner Self, Hans Decoz with Tom Monte. Extensive, detailed,
and specific, the reports produced with their software are truly
amazing. The software is stable, can be used with all Windows
platforms, and is regularly updated.
The authors, Hans Decoz and Tom Monte devoted almost a decade
to writing most of the text material from which the program
draws to compose a reading. They claim that their software contains
the largest numerology data base in the world, and this is probably
true. More impressive, however, is the fact that the authors
not only wrote in-depth descriptions for each possible number
found in any location in a chart, (no other program does that)
they also looked at how certain core numbers within an individual's
chart relate to each other.
Decoz's software also gets high marks for the number of aspects
of the chart that are included in the report. No other software
even comes close. For example, the section of the report that
describes the Personality Profile includes such aspects as the
Balance number, the Subconscious Self, and others, and is almost
twice as large when done with Decoz's software, than with Widening
Horizon's.
We test drove Decoz's professional version DecozProPlus v.5.0,
combining specific names and birth dates that would make it
clear if any texts were duplicates, general, or otherwise reflected
shortcuts. We found none. In fact, the reports were unique and
highly revealing in each case.
Master numbers and Karmic Debt numbers were used, and the relationship
between core numbers within one chart were looked at in a way
we found particularly useful and unique; the Bridge numbers.
The reports are very well written (not surprisingly, considering
that Tom Monte is the author of more than 20 books, two of which
were New York Times best sellers). Every paragraph in a personal
report done with this software contains some insight or revelation.
The software is easy to use and highly customizable.
DecozProPlus v.5.0 is complete. It includes the complete Personality
Profile, in-depth forecasts, and daily forecasts. ($259). A
version for personal use (meaning you are not allowed to sell
the reports) is available for $79.
Widening
Horizons - Matthew Goodwin numerology software. 3 stars.
Another
software maker, Widening Horizons, also carries some decent
software. Designed by Matthew Goodwin, who passed away several
years ago. The reports are better than those one with software
from any other producer, with the exception of the afore-mentioned
Decoz.
Goodwin's software, however did have some serious shortcomings.
Although some numbers are combined to give the impression that
the program looks for related numbers, we noted that this "looking
for related numbers" was somewhat misleading. What the
program does, is instead of describing each number separately,
it simply bundles them under one heading. We suspect that the
author simply wrote texts covering two numbers at the same time.
However, we also realized that this "dual description"
was than used to apply to more than one - or two - locations
in the chart. This, we strongly feel, makes the reading less
than accurate and brings it right back to the cookie cutter
approach. (For example, a person with an 8 Heart's Desire and
a 4 Personality will get the same result as vice versa).
In addition, names and birth dates we specifically selected
to expose if any text files were used in more than one location,
revealed that this is indeed the case in other areas as well.
Finally, we feel the software is outdated (the makers have been
promising to upgrade from DOS to Windows for some time now -
perhaps the fact that Mr Goodwin is no longer among us has something
to do with the delay), and the reports don't come close to the
depth and detail we expect from software in this price range.
We also feel that some claims Widening Horizons makes on its
web site are misleading. For example, the software does not
truly compare the current name with the name at birth (Decoz
does a much better job at delineating the current name!). It
is not surprising that the Software Reviews listed on Widening
Horizons web site are as outdated as it's software.Although
better than most, we feel that Widening Horizons software takes a real beating when compared to Decoz.
Widening Horizons professional software comes in two parts.
The Numerologist Report Writer ($195) only covers the Personality
Profile. To add any forecasting, you need to buy a second program
(also $195).
Conclusion.
When rating numerology software programs, Bon-usage software
received the poorest rating, Decoz software rated best.
